Fish 'N Fins hosted a youth camp in Barbuda in August 2019, designed to inspire a love for sea life and to develop climate resilience in the Barbudan youth. By the end of the camp, five teens were engaged as youth leaders and Fish 'N Fins had hosted a mock documentary session, "Our Climate Sories" with ' Island Girl' Christal Clashing. Thirty-Five children, ranging in age from seven to 14, improved their water confidence and sea safety skills during the youth camp through fun sea-based games designed to familiarise them with reef life and help them connect the importance of their coastal culture to climate resilience. This work is contributing to SDG 13  Climate Change,  SDG 14 Life Below Water & SDG 3 Good Health and Well-being. Fish 'N Fins looks forward to continuing its work in Barbuda; supporting the development of strong, passionate young people, becoming empathetic voices for our ocean and livelihoods. (See video below) 

Fish 'N Fins is a non-profit organisation in Montserrat working to inspire awareness and respect for oceans, and create knowledgeable, passionate ocean stewards that will be future leaders in ocean conservation. It plays a key role in Montserrat in building youth awareness on environmental conservation, through the design and conduct of youth camps which bring children closer to nature. Participants learn to swim, snorkel and protect our ocean, through a range of education ventures or ed-ventures, field trips, youth empowerment programs and citizen science projects.
