The Agricultural Society of Trinidad and Tobago (ASTT) received a small grant under the #CSOs4GoodGov project, to implement an advocacy action project during the life of #CSOs4GoodGov – 2017 to 2020.

ASTT’s project, “A Greener Tomorrow – The Creation a Sustainable Agricultural Sector Through Education, Training and Sensitization of Farmers and Consumers to promote and encourage sustainable agricultural practices”, promoted and encouraged the use of sustainable agricultural techniques by T&T’s farming community. ASTT reported a greater awareness of, interest in and, in some cases, implementation of sustainable agricultural practices by project participants.
