Description

NEW FIRE Festival: A local green-blue enterprise in Trinidad and Tobago 2020; one of eight case studies developed between 2018 and 2020, reflects the findings of a self-assessment process using CANARI’s Local Green‐Blue Enterprise Radar (LGE Radar).

This is a tool to help local community small and micro‐enterprise assess how they are delivering ‘triple‐bottom line’ benefits (economic, environmental and social) and good governance, and what are possible areas for improvement. The case studies were developed as part of the European Commission- funded project #GE4U: Transformation Towards an Inclusive Green Economy in The Caribbean being implemented by CANARI.

The LGE Radar was piloted with small and microenterprises in Trinidad and Tobago: Grande Riviere Nature Tour Guide Association, Green Market Santa Cruz, Fondes Amandes Community Reforestation Project, Brasso Seco Paria Tourism Action Committee, Twigs Naturals, Mt Plaisir Estate Hotel, d’Market Movers and Trinidad and Tobago Bridge Initiative’s NEW FIRE Festival.
